Help File: Version #13, 24 January 2000 !!!! Commands: <A>kteull: It's a German expression for "Latest News". Locally we're using this for a manually built table of geographic location vs callsign to assist users. <B>eacon: Displays Beacon Script, as Sysop uploads same. {if user mistakenly types "B" to disconnect, will get Beacon Script} <C>onnect: Usage: Two ways....... If your already connected to local FlexNet Digi (Node): C UserCallSign-SSID V ExitDigiCallsign-SSID Station you want to connect to must be monitoring the FlexNet Node called "ExitDigi". C W4ABC-0 V K4XYZ-2 FlexNet knows the way to all Digi's in the <D> table, regardless of how many radio hop's away. From a disconnected state command can be done in one step: "C UserCallSign-SSID V EntryDigiCallsign-SSID ExitDigiCallsign-SSID" "EntryDigi-SSID" is the local FlexNet Digi user port your talking to, "ExitDigi-SSID" is the distant FlexNet Digi User Port the station you want to connect to is know to be monitoring. ie: C W4ABC-0 V WB2CIK-2 K4XYZ-2 Further information on SSID's: 1) When connecting to a FlexNet Digi, it will respond to any SSID within its range. For example, if WB2CIK 0-14 is in the <D>estination table, the user port will respond to any SSID from -0 to -14, but not to -15. 2) When connecting out of a FlexNet Digi, you must specify the User Port's SSID, which im most cases is -2 for the 2 meter port. If the user is known the the FlexNet Digi, it will automatically select the port the end user was last heard on. Additional Info: See <F>ind command. <C>onference {NOTE: "C" a without following callsign puts you in conference mode} Works like any other conference bridge. "/c" = displays current channel (0...255) "/c <number>" = change to channel <number> "/s <callsign><msg text>" sends private message to callsign only "/m <callsign><msg text>" sends private message to callsign only "/w" = who's on conference (all channels) "/w <number>" = who's on conference channel <number> "/q" =quits conference <CAL>ibrate: SysOp only command, sends test signal for one minute on specified port. <D>estinations: Table maintained by the node of all destinations that this Digi knows the way to. "D" lists destinations which this Digi can route to, excluding destinations only reachable via port from which you entered this Digi. (This eliminates destinations which would require a user to back-track (loop), which FlexNet will not allow.) "D *" lists all destinations via FlexNet Network. Format: {(Callsign) (SSID Range) (Round Trip Time)} Lower Round Trip Time's mean better paths's !! "D callsign" gives time and exact path to a distant Digi. (Upper case CALLSIGN's are FlexNet, lower case callsign are other than FlexNet Digi's) <F>ind: Attempts to connect to a user by means of a broadcast to all user ports on the network. Usage "F UserCallSign", ie: "F W4ABC" Try it several times, as works on a single ping to user... The first ping may be missed ! <H>elp: Displays this file. [Please print for future reference] <I>nfo: Displays information file about this node. <L>inks: Displays link table. As a SysOp, command to configure a link. "L *" displays each link with "RoundTripTime" history. (times are measured every 4 minutes; "to/from") <LO>cal: Additional connect text file, displayed only to local users, ie, those connected to local "user" port, not coming in via network. <M>ail: Connects user to nearest BBS (mailbox). As SysOp, sets same. <MH>eard: Displays last 30 direct heard callsigns with timestamp. Optionally, a port number (0..15), a callsign (with or without SSID) or a number (16...200) of entries to be listed may be given. <MO>de: SysOp only command, to configure baud rate of a radio port. <MY>call: Gives the callsign and SSID range of the node. As SysOp, sets same. <P>arameters: Puts out a list of the current parameters and some of the channel statistics. po: port number id: port ssid {on pure FlexNet to FlexNet link ports, no ssid (--)} td: TXDelay in 10 millisecond units qso: number of QSO's on this port, including internode QSO's usr: number of stations heard on this port, last 3 minutes tifr: transmitted I-frames, last 10 minutes rifr: received I-frames, last 10 minutes tkby: transmitted kilobytes, last 10 minutes rkby: received kilobytes, last 10 minutes qty: quality of the channel, updated every 10 minutes. <Q>uit: Disconnect from Digi. NOTE: "B" or "BYE" will not disconnect !!! <S>etsearch: Lists Digi's that <F>ind command will search. As SysOp, sets same. <ST>atistics: Displays all current operating statistics of the Digi. <SY>sop: SysOp only command, for remote control access. <T>alk: A simple means of talking to another station connected to the Digi. (This allows you to break into and talk to an existing station already connected to the FlexNet Digi.) "t <callsign> <message text>" sends a single message to any user connected to the digi. "t <callsign>" connects you to one user as a single port conference and then you can exchange text back and forth. "/q" quits talk <U>sers: Lists current users of this Digi. QSO Number QSO State Number of unacknowledged frames of the QSO, if any Port Number Callsigns and Digipeater field <U *> gives expanded user info. Fxxxx = Frack Mx = MaxFrame ! = FlexNet to Flexnet Header Compression in use <W>rite: SysOp only command, to upload information text's. => |
